3. OBJECTS
3.1 The objects for which SEAK has been established are:
3.1.1 To preserve and maintain the close bonds of friendship and esprit de corps formed during and after operational service in the Australian Defence Forces, the Armed Forces of any former or present member of the British Commonwealth or Crown Colony, the United States of America, the Merchant Marine and any other allies during the periods and in the operational areas prescribed in Schedule 1 of these Rules.
3.1.2 To develop and maintain a close liaison, goodwill and fellowship between members of the Association, the Returned Services League of Australia and other veterans’ organisations.
3.1.3 To protect the name of SEAK and promote and preserve the interests of the Association.
3.1.4 To assist the dependents of significantly incapacitated or deceased members of the Association.
3.1.5 To provide modest financial assistance to needy members at the discretion of the SEAK Committee in accordance with guidelines agreed by the members at a Monthly Meeting
